Well, it has been a long and busy weekend. Two birthday parties, and volleyball on Saturday and pretty much all day at church today.
My volleyball team won it's third straight week of games. Of course, I keep getting accused of having a team of nothing but ringers. Just because I have my brother (who is 6'5" and he and I have been playing volleyball together since we were little), a friend of ours who played in high school and college and his sister who plays for on Lakota's girls team and a couple of others who also know their way around a volleyball court; I keep getting accused of stacking my team.
What can you do???
We had a great service this morning; and then a great choir practice this afternoon. The choir has done an awesome job last week and this week with two new songs each of those services. And they are doing a fabulous job with the new songs we are working on for our big Easter concert on Sunday, April 5th (Palm Sunday). I am looking forward to this year's concert. This will be the second year in a row that we have put together our own production. It's been a lot of work, but they are doing an awesome job and I love working with a team of dedicated people who love what they are doing and who love singing for Christ and serving Him.
My arm feels like it's gonna fall off though. After volleyball; and after leading music for more than a couple hours today: it's really sore!!

Christmas: family together, recognizing and remembering the sacrifice that Christ made; leaving His throne and coming to this wicked world, knowing the unlimate gift that He would one day offer to us all!

Some old pictures

We have been cleaning out storage areas in our house lately. Pitching old stuff that we don't need or use anymore and making room to store more junk that we can sort through and throw away in another few years. Well, I found some old pictures that I just couldn't pass up putting up for all to see:
My little brother: Billy the kid
I was actually bigger than him at this stage in our lives.

This is back when I was half the man I am now!

Michelle will probably kill me for putting that one up!

My Girls

My most important girl: My beautiful wife Michelle.
Without her, none of this would be possible.

Princess Emily, making sure all the subjects are in line;

and young Princess Maggie, making sure her older sister is not outdone.
